Another away defeat but not by four goals, which is a good sign considering it could have been at least 4 in the first 20 minutes.
I dont think the away record should be mentioned in this game. We may have won at Anfield last season but Liverpool are still a class team and I certainly didnt expect a win or a draw.
Liverpool were simply awesome. They created lots of chances and if it wasnt for Dean Kiely, it could of been 4 by half time. It was the first time I have watched Liverpool this season and I must point out one player who looks to be one of the signings of the season - Luis Garcia. His goal was amazing and he looks a real talent.
As for Charlton, we done well in the second half but didnt create enough chances, my only real moan would be that I wish Curbishley would rethink the forward line. For me Jeffers and Euell would score more goals than Bartlett and Lisbie.
Next up is Palace in the cup - im hoping its not the typical cup Charlton that shows up. Hopefully we will win and really progress this year in the carling cup.
