My Views: Charlton vs Blackburn

It is amazing when you think we were close to leaving The Valley thinking we have blown another game and it was thanks to a goal from Brad Friedel. We would have said it was one of the worse games of the season and would be feeling very depressed.

However one goal changes all that, I do feel for Blackburn as it was a great comeback but it was very nice to steal it in injury time. I bet allot of people missed the goal as The Valley was emptying out as soon as it was 2-2. But this game does show why we love football, for me it’s all about the emotions you go through during a game. For example at Blackburn we were comfortable and happy at 2-0, one massive error from Kishishev made us angry, and then when the keeper scored we (I) was shocked, I remember standing in the north lower just thinking how did this happen, but then we won it on the last minute through Claus Jensen and we went mental. Seeing Di Canio run from the dugout onto the pitch, on his knees going mad was fantastic. And seeing the Blackburn players lying on their backs like they have been relegated shows how much it hurt.

Speaking of Di Canio - how good was he, it was amazing watching him. Pulling of the little tricks which makes him great, and seeing how much he loves the club, lets hope Curbishley offers him a new deal for next season.

Overall it was an amazing game, great goals from Carlton Cole - who is looking to be a good deal from Chelsea, and a fantastic winner from Claus Jensen.

Europe is still possible!
