It was not a good time to play them after their result last week but we worked very hard for the win."His opposite number Alan Curbishley was philosophical in defeat: "I think we restored some pride," he reflected afterwards. "It was a shame we didn't manage to turn some of our openings into anything.
"If we had got a point, I don't think too many people would have begrudged us it."
