Charlton Athletic vs MK Dons PREVIEW

Last updated : 13 November 2009 By Matt Fricker

After four away games in a row, Charlton return to The Valley on Saturday hoping to turn around the fortunes that saw them pick up one draw and three defeats on their travels.

For the poor results on the road recently however, Charlton are still un-defeated at home and have only drawn twice, winning every other fixture.

The visitors to the fortress Valley this weekend are MK Dons. Managed by Paul Ince, the Dons are currently on a run of one defeat in eight fixtures and are sitting confidently in 3rd place in League One, level on points with the Addicks, but possessing a worse goal difference.

In terms of team news Sam Sodje is available for selection after he turned down the chance to join up with the Nigerian international squad for their world cup qualifier.

Frazer Richardson is also gaining in fitness however he may be rested again with hopes that he will be able to return for the trip to Yeovil next weekend.

With six changes being made to the side on Wednesday and an overall committed performance being displayed by the team, it is hoped that the players will continue on their road to recover the form shown at the start of the season.

My prediction for the starting line-up is:

GK: Carl Ikeme

RB: Kelly Youga

CB: Christian Dailly

CB: Sam Sodje

LB: Grant Basey

RM: Lloyd Sam

CM: Jose Semedo

CM: Therry Racon

LM: Nicky Bailey ©

CF: Leon McKenzie

CF: Deon Burton

Subs: Darren Randolph, Miguel Llera, Scott Wagstaff, Matt Spring, Luke Holden, David Mooney, Tamer Tuna

Come on you Addicks!
