Two out of Two in Ireland

Charlton follow up their 3 - 0 win against Wexford Youths with a 2 - 0 win against Bray Wanderers crowning a successful pre-season friendly tour of Ireland.

The team included Fraser Richardson, the new signing from Leeds at right back ,and triallist Chris McCready the former Crewe defender, who also scored the first goal from a Basey corner taken from the left.

Agile winger, Lloyd Sam, scored the second goal, volleying in from the left fed by an accurate, long Shelvey pass.

The winning score would have been greater but for a missed penalty opportunity by Izale McLeod.

Some great late saves made by Rob Elliott helped keep a clean sheet and continue the confidence building momentum before the league campaign gets underway.
