I was at St Marys on boxing day and it was one of the stranges games of football I have seen.

It was the only away game I have been to where I was certain we would win the game and was disappointed with the draw.

Southampton were awful. They didnt threaten and you could see us winning easily. But it didnt happen. We couldnt score even though we should of had the game finished in the first half.

It was a good performance by the team but you just couldnt see where the goal was coming from. And I think the only mistake Curbishly made was not changing the team. We had Jeffers and Euell on the bench but Curbishley didnt use any subs which was wrong in my opinon as it would of gave us a few more ideas.

At the begaining of the season I might of took 0-0 at St Marys but this was a bad result which ment we needed a win against Everton

It was a must win game after the draw at Southampton and we got it in the end. It was a similar game to Southampton. At the begaining we were all wondering how good Everton are. But by the second half I knew we could beat them.

The only problem was where the goal will come from. The 4-5-1 formation is working for us but I do think Bartlett isnt the right man to lead us. He drops off to often leaving no one in the box which means less scoring chances. Franny Jeffers would be suited more but Curbs hasnt used him from the start.

When the goal came The Valley went mad. I certainly went mad as it was a big goal for us. Once again El Karkouri was there when you need him. He has been great over the last few weeks.

I didnt see Fergussons red card but have seen the replays and it was the right decision. And then to score another through Hermann Hreidarsson just made the game complete and kept our good form going. It could be a good few weeks to be an Addicks fan at the moment.
