My Views: Palace vs Charlton

My Views: Palace 0 Charlton 1

What a way to win a game! First seeing Kiely save a penalty and then scoring on the last few seconds of injury time to win the game.

I was one of the lucky ones to have been at Selhurst Park and it was a great day out. We did not sell out our allocation but it was only one block missing, otherwise the turnout was fantastic and every Charlton fan who was there should get a pat on the back because you done your club proud yesterday.

We were singing from start to finish and it made the game very enjoyable. As for the match itself, I think we probably deserved to nick the win. We did dominate the first half and Palace improved in the second. But we did have better chances and after saving Johnson's penalty you had a feeling it would be our day.

It was great to see Rommendahl do well and score. I do rate Dennis Rommendahl and when he plays to his potential, he will be a real asset to us. Hopefully that goal will help his confidence.

Finally one of my favourite parts of the day was after the game had finished. We were locked in and wasn't allowed to leave for 15minutes but we didn’t care as we were singing and dancing and at one point cheering on Chris Powell who could be seen next to our block in the Sky Studio. He even waved which got a great reception.

We even starting singing "Can you hear the Palace sing?" to the empty stands which was a great laugh.

WBA next week and if we can win that and the Fulham game at home then we have a real chance of climbing up the table and having a great Christmas.
