My Views: Middlesbrough 2-2 Charlton

I Managed to watch the whole game online through a web site today and it was a very pleasing first half display from the lads.

Boro were poor but we were on top for the most part of the first 45 minutes. We took a suprise lead through Matt Holland with help of a deflection and looked solid for the most part.

But the second half was different. Boro were on top from the kick off and it felt like the Liverpool game all over again, especially when they finally scored. But then to my suprise we seemed to step up a gear and got a goal back straight away through Shuan Bartlett

Bartlett is finally looking good at the moment and is playing his part now in the 4-5-1 formation. Its great to see him score and I think thats his 6 of the season.

I was disappointed that we let Boro back in it. We were 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go and we sat back again and Boro made the most of it, and if it wasnt for Dean Kiely we could of lost easily in the end. At the end of the 90 minutes I couldnt understand why 6 minutes we added on. which ment more preasure from Boro.

We were unlucky not to win it with a late Euell shot but overall a point is a great results. We still have a game in hand and could jump into 6th place with a win over Tottenham. So things are looking good at the moment.

Fulham away next and you must look at the game thinking we can win it.
