Going to Old Trafford was always going to be difficult. I really didnt expect much out of the game especially after United had scored.

Before that there was always hope of a point. I thought we done well in the first half and knocked the ball around nicely. But we didnt create anything and failed to put any real preasure on United.

If memory serves me correctly - Man United is the only team we have yet to beat in our Premiership history. Which is alittle strange because we have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle home and away before.

We were unlucky to go into the break a goal down but thats football for you. We didnt stand much chance once the second went in but at least 2-0 was a respectable scoreline. I would have probably taken it if we were offered it before the game.

Chelsea next at The Valley should be a good game. Once again if we manage to win and then beat Palace away the following week, it will help our league position alot.

But life isnt that simple and Chelsea are difficult to beat. It will be interesting to see if Parker will play.
