It was a dissappointing night at The Valley on tuesday. The game against Liverpool was a huge match for us. A win would of mean that we were 3 points clear of Liverpool.
Although Liverpool deserved the win. It was anoying that we were 1-0 going into the second half, and sat back for the first 20 minutes and took alot of preasure from Liverpool.
The goal was going to happen and it wasnt a suprise to see it happen after a mistake from Bryan Hughes. And because we sat back, Liverpool had the confidence to get the second while we didnt look like scoring at all.
This season we dont seem to be able to beat the big teams but are getting the results against the lower teams which is helping us stay in the race for a possible european spot.
Newcastle are next at St James, I cant see us getting anything there but it is a good time to face Newcastle at the moment.
