My Views: Charlton 1 Leicester 2

Like most Charlton fans right now, I am very disappointed with the result on saturday. It was difficult to take considering we are the Premier League team and Leicester are in The Championship.

But in the FA Cup that doesnt matter - and we really saw a good example of that on saturday. We were awful, Leicester were good and we were out played.

We didnt have any desire while Leicester were determined. We didnt look like scoring while Leicester always looked dangerous.

It was the right result, and it hurts to say that because I really enjoy the FA Cup and always dream of the Final at Cardiff but it wasnt to be.

The one issue that anoyed me the most was the fact that Curbishley played the 4-5-1 formation. In the league its fine but in the FA Cup its far to negative. It didnt work and in prevous rounds we played 4-4-2 which did work. We scored 7 times in 2 FA Cup matches with it.

But against Leicester it was wrong and we needed another forward on the pitch. I wish that Curbishley would play Euell in midfield. Because if the 4-5-1 formation goes wrong then we can put Euell up front and go to 4-4-2. At the moment we dont play a second forward and we dont have the option to change the formation without making a substitution.

Our focus is now on the league and with a tricky away game against Boro. A win will boast our european chances - a lose could end them
