Wagstaff signs new Addicks deal

Charlton midfielder Scott Wagstaff has penned a new two-year contract with the club. The 20-year-old, who came through the ranks at the Valley, signed professional terms in January 2008 before making his debut in April of the same year against Barnsley. He came of age during the 2009/10 campaign, making 30 league appearances for the Addicks where he netted four goals and picked up the Addicks Young Player of the Year award. Wagstaff was over the moon to put pen to paper, telling the club's official website: "I'm delighted to sign a new deal. It shows the club has faith in my ability and now I'm looking forward to pushing on this season."
