"I think we'll improve when Djimi Traore gets back," manager Iain Dowie told the club's official website.
"Hermann's doing fantastic for us but he's not a natural left-back. I think he's a centre-half but he's hanging in there laudably for us.
"Djimi will give us a bit of balance as he's a natural left-back. That will make the difference to us."
