Swindon Town vs Charlton Athletic PREVIEW

Last updated : 02 November 2010 By Matt Fricker

Following Saturday’s hard fought yet deserved win against Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton travel tonight to Swindon Town in the first meeting between the two sides since last season’s play offs.

While neither side have set League One alight so far this season, the Robins sit 5 points behind the Addicks having only won four times this season (however, three of Swindon’s four victories have come at the county ground against ‘big’ oppositions, namely Southampton, Huddersfield and Bristol Rovers)

Unfortunately for the Addicks, who have lost four times this season, three of their defeats (Exeter, Brentford and Huddersfield) have come away from home.

In team news Lee Martin is suspended however Chris Solly could make a long awaited return to the bench following injury.

With this in mind, my prediction for tonight’s team is:

GK: Rob Elliot

RB: Simon Francis

CB: Christian Dailly ©

CB: Gary Doherty

LB: Matt Fry

RM: Scott Wagstaff

CM: Jose Semedo

CM: Therry Racon

LM: Johnnie Jackson

CF: Paul Benson

CF: Joe Anyinsah

Subs: Ross Worner, Chris Solly, Jon Fortune, Ben Davisson, Alan McCormack, Pawel Abbott, Akpo Sodje

Come on you Addicks!!!!
