Following a perfect start to the League One season, Charlton manager Phil Parkinson has been nominated for the award of League One Manager of the Month.
Parkinson, who faces competition for the award from Leeds’ Simon Grayson, Milton Keynes Dons’ Paul Ince and Brentford’s Andy Scott has led his Addicks to six successive performances.
Not only have the Charlton performances this season led to comfortable league wins, they have also helped to convert the Charlton faithful to provide their full and vocal support for the team who finished rock bottom of the Championship last season.
The winner will be announced on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday programme this weekend.
