Both Scott Parker and Charlton will relieved to see that there start midfield has had his red card that he recieved at Wolves revoked.

Kevin Cooper, who was the player he had tackled, had to go for scans at hospital but was against the decision of the referee and said he would support Scott in his decision to stop his ban.

Alan Curbishley and Dave Jones, of Wolves, were also disgraced at the performance of referee, Paul Dowd, and Charlton Chairman Peter Varney was full of praise for Dave Jones:

ā€œIā€™d like to take this opportunity to thank Wolves manager Dave Jones, the player Kevin Cooper and the match day delegate Clive Whitehead for the support they gave to our claim.ā€

Parker is now fit to play in the game against Man Utd on September 13th, but although his appeal against the red card has been successful the red card will stay on his record and the clubs.
