Pardew: The New Neil Warnock?

Last updated : 04 October 2007 By Paul Crisp
Pardew has been called 'pathetic' and Hull fans have said his actions were 'disgusting'. He has also been called 'the new Neil Warnock!'. I find this an absolute joke.

Pardew is known for his passion and pride, as was shown when Marlon Harewood scored the winner for his then West Ham side against Arsenal, which led to an FA investigation into the fisty-cuffs which took place between Pardew and bad loser Arsene Wenger.

This time the bad losers are the Hull fans, who have continued in their protests against Pardew and his side's so called 'dirty tactics'. This opinion has been made worse by the Tigers manager Phil Brown who said, "The sport suffered tonight and I certainly won't be advocating the way the game was played to my players.

This comes from a manager who has been taught by 'Big Sam' Allardyce at Bolton Wanderers. The tactics Brown learnt at the Reebok was to boot the ball up to Kevin Davies and watch the big lump elbow whoever he could find!

I am a proud Charlton fan and I feel that Pardew did the right thing by going onto the pitch to stop the brawl that was taking place on Tuesday night. Pardew is not 'the new Neil Warnock', far from it!! He is our 'special one'.
