Liverpool lose interest in Bent?

With the Charlton board's evaluation of the 22-goal striker apparently too much in the eyes of Liverpool, they now seem to be turning their attentions back to Tottenham and ex-Charlton striker Jermain Defoe.

Charlton will only do business with another team for £12 million and with Bent also stating that he wants to stay in SE7, Benitez seems to have gone back to looking at wantaway cheaper striker Defoe.

Charlton fans are hoping that that is the case...
