Lack of Action at The Valley

It's been a month since Dowie took over from long serving manager Alan Curbishley and there has been some movement in the club... but in the wrong direction.

Five players have been released from the club including Chris Perry and Jay Bothroyd and that has decreased the size of an already small squad. With only three strikers now at the club with one of them being Kevin Lisbie, fans have been thinking that surely he must have players ready to sign, but that has not yet been the case.

And with the rumour of a £10 million pound bid from Spurs for Darren Bent looming, fans are beginning to become worried with the lack of transfer movement.

With only a couple of weeks left before pre-season training begins, there is sure to be a lot of action happening at the Valley. Isn't there?
