Charlton have loaned out transfer-listed player Paul Konchesky. In return, Charlton have signed defender Chris Perry both have been loaned out on a 1-month contract. Perry is acting as a replacement for the injured Richard Rufus, Gary Rowett and Mark Fish who is soon to be suspended.

Konchesky who requested a transfer earlier this year has been left out of the last two Charlton squads to play Everton and Bolton.

Curbishley was delighted with the capture of Perry: “With Gary Rowett and Richard Rufus injured at the moment, and Mark Fish soon to serve a suspension, I felt we needed to bring in someone of Chris’ experience and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Despite not featuring for Spurs this season, Perry has had to face competition from defenders such as; Ledley King and Dean Richards.
