Curbs made three changes, probably with the midweek FA Cup quarter-final against Middlesbrough in the back of his mind. Matt Holland started amongst the substitutes but there was not even any room made on the bench for Darren Ambrose. Dennis Rommedahl returned and there was a place in the starting line-up also for Jerome Thomas.
"Not many of them can take anything out of the game. Our better passers were as poor as anyone on that showing," he added.
