Bryan Hughes, the scorer of Charlton’s third goal against Brentford on Saturday, previously reached the FA Cup quarter-final’s with Wrexham in 1997.
Boss Alan Curbishley said: "I think Bryan was on a mission today. He's played in midfield for the last five or six games, he worked hard again and it was a good finish."
Perhaps Curbs has selective memory loss because it was actually Bryan’s 12th consecutive start for the Addicks. It was the midfielder’s third goal of the season.
