England may take on a DoF

It’s believed consideration is being given to the possibility of installing an experienced full-time director of football responsible for scouting with Alan Curbishley and Stuart Pearce keeping their managerial jobs in the Premiership while staying acquainted with the form of English players.

Reports today mentioned the possibility of Sir Trevor Brooking, currently the FA's director of football development, or Sir Bobby Robson, taking on the role of DoF.
