Referee Andy D'Urso had asked for kick-off to be delayed until 1.15pm for the pitch to receive thawing treatment.
After an inspection at 12pm, D'Urso decided that certain areas of the pitch were unsafe and that the game could not go ahead.
A new date has yet to be arranged for the fixture.
