Dane hates to sit out games

He said: "It's hard to say whether I have improved as a goalkeeper since I came here, but I've learnt a lot and hopefully there is more to come.

"I was on the bench for most of the time in my first season at Charlton so mentally I think I have matured a lot. It was very difficult because I was used to playing every week before that, but I always knew that I was capable of playing in the Premiership and I'm really pleased to be in the team right now.

"I think I just have to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully that will be enough for me to stay in the team. I don't think there is an obvious weakness in my game, I just need more experience, so hopefully I can continue to keep Dean out of the team," he added.
