Charlton were cruising into the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup thanks to goals from Darren Ambrose and Danny Murphy until they let a two-goal slip, reported The Sun.
The Charlton manager said: "On the plus side we looked quite bright going forward, but you just can’t defend like that. You can't let three goals in at home and expect to get anything. I have called for a bit of a performance and a chance for a clean sheet, but with defending like that, it is just not going to happen. I have made changes (over the last four weeks) but they keep letting me down individually."
