Curbs has a pop at the F.A.

Alan Curbishley has criticised the Football Association for pandering to England’s needs at the detriment of the FA Cup.

To ensure England players have four weeks to prepare for the World Cup finals it was pre-arranged that the televised FA Cup sixth round ties would be played from Monday to Thursday in between an already tight fixture list.

Curbs remarks directed at the FA is a desperate attempt to get them to give the Addicks a fairer rub of the green instead of Liverpool and Chelsea who could play their cup ties in the more traditional midweek slot.

According to the Addicks boss, Charlton will more than likely have to play their quarter-final tie against Middlesbrough within two days of a Premiership game.
