The Addicks boss has responded to the article which appeared in the News of the World this morning, concerning his contract talks with the club.
On his decision to leave signing a new deal until the summer, ahead of his existing contract expiring next year, Curbs said: "There's nothing sinister about that - I actually spoke to the chairman when we were second. I just want to get the season out of the way and see how we've done."
