Charlton V Nottm Forest at The Valley - Match Preview

Selection worries for Charlton

Charlton's injuries are piling up ahead of the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Skipper Johnnie Jackson is out after pulling his groin in training last week, forcing him to miss Saturday's trip to Burnley, and fellow midfielder Bradley Pritchard is a doubt after suffering concussion in the 3-0 defeat.

Striker Yann Kermorgant is still not fully fit having missed the previous two matches with an ankle injury, but he came on as a sub at Turf Moor and should be involved again.

Defenders Chris Solly and Leon Cort are still sidelined by knee injuries.

Guy Moussi will be assessed before Nottingham Forest travel.

A groin strain forced Moussi off after just 16 minutes of the 1-0 victory over East Midlands rivals Derby at the City Ground on Saturday.

Fellow midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, defender Kelvin Wilson and forward Jamie Paterson will also be checked on before the Reds make the journey to London after missing out against the Rams.

Chalobah, on loan from Chelsea, was denied his home debut after sustaining a knock in training. Wilson has now missed three matches with the back injury he suffered during the 2-2 home draw with Middlesbrough and Paterson was absent through illness.
