Charlton V Middlesbrough at The Valley - Match Preview

Pritchard blow for Addicks

Charlton manager Chris Powell will once again be without midfielder Bradley Pritchard for Saturday's clash with Middlesbrough.

The 27-year-old serves the second of the three-match ban he picked when he saw red for a lunging tackle in his side's 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend.

Forward Simon Church is in contention to make his first league start after he scored twice during Tuesday's emphatic Capital One Cup first round victory over Oxford.

Powell, who made 10 changes on Tuesday, must now decide whether to stick with the team that won 4-0 in midweek or recall the players he dropped for the cup tie.

Middlesbrough's new signing Albert Adomah is poised to make his debut.

The former Bristol City winger completed his move on Thursday and will be included in Tony Mowbray's squad as Boro look to bounce back from successive home defeats.

Former Leeds and Southampton defender Frazer Richardson is expected to be included in the squad and could also make his first appearance for the club after arriving on a free transfer last week.

Mowbray, who has no new injury or suspension problems, is not expected to make many changes despite Boro's poor start to the season, while defender Seb Hines remains sidelined with a knee injury.
