Charlton V Leicester at The Valley - Match Preview

Addicks to monitor Jackson

Charlton will check on skipper Johnnie Jackson ahead of the visit of Leicester.

Midfielder Jackson managed 80 minutes in the midweek Capital One Cup defeat by Huddersfield on his return from a troublesome calf problem and boss Chris Powell will wait to see how the injury settles down.

Jackson and fit-again Dale Stephens (groin) were among eight changes made by Powell against Town so the likes of Leon Cort, Rhoys Wiggins, Chris Solly, Mark Gower, Yann Kermorgant and Simon Church could come back in.

Teenage forward Joe Piggott could make his league debut after another encouraging display in the cup.

Captain Wes Morgan and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel are back in contention for Leicester.

Morgan missed last Saturday's 3-2 home win over Birmingham and the midweek Capital One Cup victory at Carlisle after suffering a back spasm but the centre-half has now resumed training.

Schmeichel was given the night off at Brunton Park to rest a mild ankle knock but will be fit to face the Addicks as Nigel Pearson's men look to head into the international break still unbeaten.

Defender Sean St. Ledger remains the only other injury absentee but his comeback from a knee problem is progressing well and he has also resumed light training.
