Charlton V Barnsley at The Valley - Match Preview

Johnnie Jackson is in line to return for Charlton when they meet Barnsley in the npower Championship.

The winger has recovered from the hamstring injury he picked up in the 1-1 draw with Blackburn at the end of September.

Addicks physio Erul Umut told the club's official website: "We put an extra week's worth of work into him and now he is fully back training with the squad and in contention for as soon as the gaffer sees fit to put him back in."

Danny Green limped off at Blackpool with a dead leg but he too is back in contention, as is fellow winger Jordan Cook, who is fighting fit after a hamstring problem.

Yann Kermorgant (ankle), Rhoys Wiggins and Matt Taylor (both foot) all miss out.

Barnsley's injury problems in defence show little sign of easing in time for the the trip.

Tykes boss Keith Hill had hoped central defenders Jim McNulty (hamstring), Martin Cranie (ribs) and Stephen Foster (back) would all have returned to full fitness during the international break, but he could be without all three at The Valley.

Foster has the best chance of featuring, but with Rob Edwards (Fleetwood) and Lee Collins (Shrewsbury) out on loan, Scott Wiseman is expected to stand in again at centre-half.

Midfielder Jim O'Brien remains sidelined as he continues his rehabilitation after dislocating a shoulder in August and summer signings Toni Silva (knee) and Mido (hamstring) are still unavailable.

The Tykes have taken only one point from their last three league matches since winning 5-0 at Birmingham last month.
