Charlton draw Northwich Victoria

In the draw conducted by Charlton legend Chris Powell and England cricketer James Anderson Charlton had to wait patiently to find out their opposition in the first round of the FA cup.

One of the last teams to be drawn out, the Addicks will be undoubtedly pleased with the tie, against Blue Square North side, Northwich Victoria.

The Chester based team, much like the Addicks, were relegated last season and are currently sitting in 15th place in the Blue Square North having been docked 10 points for entering administration earlier in the year.

The Vics, as they like to be known, will be relishing the opportunity to gather one of the biggest scalps of the 1st round having beaten FC United of Manchester 3 -0 in the previous round.

The tie is to be held on the weekend of November 7th - 8th at the Victoria Stadium where Phil Parkinson will be looking to guide his team through to the 2nd round.

Come on you Addicks!
