Bent Going Nowhere - Dowie

The Magpies are the latest Premier League side to be linked with Bent but Dowie has confirmed that he is keen to keep hold of the England international striker.

"We have just signed him on a new long deal," Dowie has said.

"We are in a poor league position at the moment. But I don't think that selling Darren is something that we are looking at right now."
