Bailey woe for Addicks

Charlton skipper Nicky Bailey could be an injury doubt ahead of the trip to Exeter next weekend. The 12-goal midfielder has been struggling with a shoulder injury recently, and although boss Phil Parkinson persisted with him during Saturday's defeat by Norwich he eventually succumbed to the problem and had to be replaced. "Nick has had a nerve problem with his shoulder for ages," said Parkinson. "He was struggling slightly physically but you always feel with Nick that if a chance falls to him he'll score because he's such a good finisher. "In the end, though, he ran out of steam and his shoulder and neck are causing him problems. We'll have to assess him during the week."
