Are Charlton good enough to challenge for the top 6

The club needs to self evaluate itself on the goals, if any it has set for this season, and where it wants to be in the next 5 years. Its called, ambition. Charlton where a physical side on Saturday with little else. If Charlton want to seriously be considered for contention to promotion this season, the players have to push the opposition from the minute of the kick off to the very last. I hate to say this, 6 players where sold during pre-season, and that has weakened the team. There isn't any money in this club, everyone knows that, but shedding good players and relying on players who are standard professional players, the club could decline, this has already happened this season with winning only one of there last six opening games, now just lost to Millwall at home, making it, six defeats.

Lomas the Millwall manager could not believe his eyes when Millwall won the game at the Valley, since his side have been dismal this season, and a recent heavy defeat at home. There has to be accountability, and that is on the manager Chris Powell, when you make those decisions to dispense with good players and rely on lesser players, then this is what you get, the championship is a cruel and brutal league and Charlton are feeling the brunt of it.

The Charlton board must ask itself, is this current team a team that is capable of beating teams and getting to the play off's! Ask the true honest supporter that question from what they have seen this season.
