Hartlepool vs Charlton PREVIEW

Last updated : 17 December 2010 By Matt Fricker

Following a recent run of one win in the last five games, Charlton return to league football in an away fixture against Hartlepool United.

Phil Parkinson will be hoping his team can re-create the league form that has seen them remain undefeated away from The Valley since October 2nd (when we were beaten 2 -1 by Brentford)

Many fans complained about the manner of the defeat to Walsall last Sunday, however, when considering the last time we lost in embarrassing fashion at home, we went on to remain unbeaten for the next 10 games (winning 8) I’ll be ok with a repeat performance (especially as it’ll see us through the Christmas period and into the F.A Cup 4th round too)!

In team news Akpo Sodje is out with a shoulder injury, but apart from that, Christian Dailly is back, and we should have a very strong team to put out and prove a point against Hartlepool.

With this in mind, my prediction for tomorrow’s starting line up is:

GK: Rob Elliot

RB: Simon Francis

CB: Gary Doherty

CB: Christian Dailly ©

LB: Matt Fry

RM: Scott Wagstaff

CM: Jose Semedo

CM: Therry Racon

LM: Johnnie Jackson

CF: Joe Anyinsah

CF: Paul Benson

SUBS: Ross Worner, Carl Jenkinson, Jonathan Fortune, Alan McCormack, Kyel Reid, Lee Martin, Pawel Abbot

Come on you Addicks!!
