Brentford vs Charlton PREVIEW

Last updated : 02 October 2010 By Matt Fricker

Charlton make the short journey up to Brentford today for their fixture against League One’s bottom club.

Both Rob Elliot and Christian Dailly are said to be pushing for recalls following their recent injuries, while Paul Benson will be hoping to continue the striking performances that saw him score his first goal for the Addicks on Tuesday night.

Although Brentford haven’t had the strongest of starts to the season, their home form will still pose some worries for the Addicks, as both Hull and Everton have failed to win in cup visits to Griffin Park this season, and if Andy Scott’s men can produce a similar performance, things will be very tough for Charlton.

My prediction for the starting line up is:

GK: Ross Worner

LB: Matt Fry

CB: Jonathan Fortune

CB: Gary Doherty

RB: Simon Francis

LM: Scott Wagstaff

CM: Therry Racon

CM: Jose Semedo ©

RM: Lee Martin

CF: Paul Benson

CF: Pawel Abbott

Subs: Rob Elliot, Christian Dailly, Johnnie Jackson, Alan McCormack, Kyel Reid, Akpo Sodje, Joe Anyinsah

Come on you Addicks!!!!
