Man of the Match: Southampton vs Charlton

A very strange day at St Marys on boxing day. You dont go to many away games thinking a point was a bad result but it was against Southampton.

As for performances on the day, we did do very well apart from scoring. But apart from that it was a good display from Charlton. My man of the match for the game against Southampon was Jerome Thomas.

He did run the show once again and scared Southampton on every counter attack. But you could tell near the end of the game he was very tired and needs a break.

Another great display for the Addicks against Everton. Bit like the Southampton game but we did manage to score the goals. You could sense the goals coming and it was a big relief to score so near the end. Man of the match goes to the one player who seems to score important goals all the time, and is our joint top scorer!

Talal El Karkouri - what a buy he has been and he has the ability to score from corners often which is great. He was another great find from Alan Curbishly.
