Man of the Match: Charlton 1 Palace 2

Jerome Thomas

I was very impressed with Thomas. He stood out as my man of the match in a poor display against our south London rivals.

He had the Dennis Rommendahl role and played very well. He always wanted the ball and took on the defenders when he could. And in the second half he showed us he is a good corner taker, delivering 3 pefect corners, which we were unlucky not to have scored from.
